Thank you to WBC, Jill Diamond, Brian Cohen and all who helped the kids. There spirit has been lifted and everyone is training with new found energythaks to Brian Cohen. - David Vasquez A couple of months ago we received a desperate note from David Vazquez (through A4H), saying they had a bunch of needy kids and virtually no equipment -- except some rotted gloves. They were not only giving boxing lessons, but also tutoring the kids for school. They had tried and tried to get help with no success. Since that time, we've gotten several companies to donate to them. It's a total win-win. Lastly, our WBC Ambassador in Philly, Brian Cohen, went there and gave them more gear, and more importantly, his time and lessons. Read below and smile. Our cool, WBC Ambassador in Philly, Brian Cohen, brought his talents as a trainer to David Vazquez and the kids at Heavy Hitters in Stroudsburg, Pa, USA. My understanding from David is that it was awesome. On top of all the gear we sent them, and the key chains from Reyes, Brian brought them even more provisions. This gym went from zero to 100 thanks to all of our efforts. On top of that, they loved the WBC Posters that Alain Flores created so much, they (as well as some of the other gyms I’ve sent them to), are having them laminated and hung in the gyms. “The kids were great. When I arrived they were very excited. I brought them 8 pairs of new gloves as well as some boxing boots. The kids were so receptive and excited. They were also very respectful. I watched them box.
