WBC in conjunction with Mk Dons football team worked with the local fire > service, Police and Heart FM to arrange a family fun day prior to MK Dons > vs. Gillingham game. Glenn Catley Former WBC Champion and Jane Couch the > UK's first female Champion took 100's of boys and girls on the pads in the > ring to give them a taste of the sport. > > The Champions including Terrible Tim Witherpsoon had photo's and signed > autographs all afternoon for the Crowd of 10000 who cheered when the > champions were announced on the field at half time. > > The day was aimed at encouraging children into sport in general and football > and boxing working together to inspire kids into making positive decisions > in there life.
